Patrick Conkright, age 57 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, January 24, 2003 at his home following a short illness. He was born on March 6, 1945 in Grand Rapids to Ira Lionel and Hilda Matilda (Sievers) Conkright and married Arla Dawn Hudson on April 18, 1964 in Grand Rapids . Pat had worked at the Versatile Fabrication Company in Muskegon Heights at a sheet metal worker until his retirement. He was also a member of the White Cloud Eagles Aerie Post #4170; was a member of the SMA Local 7 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Arla of White Cloud; his children, Michele (Mike) Dart of White Cloud; Teri (Craig) Scott of Westland, Michigan; Patrick Conkright of White Cloud; son-in-law, Todd Sidwell of Salt Lake City, Utah; 7 grandchildren; Ashley, Shana, Breanna, Cayleigh, Michael, Patrick, Andrew; sisters and brothers, Donald (Barbara) Conkright of Cheboygan; Richard Conkright of Big Pine Key, Florida; Dorothy Weiers of Greenville; Shirley (Edward) Ondersma of White Cloud. Pat was preceded in death by one daughter, Kelly Sidwell on May 25, 2002 . Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 from Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Celebrant Curt Crandell presiding with interment in the White cloud Cemetery.
