Patrick L. Eitniear, age 72 of Hesperia, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Pat was born on November 22, 1937 in Hesperia to Frank and Edith (Webster) Eitniear and graduated from Hesperia High School in 1956. Pat had been a hi-lo operator at Gerber Products Company in the warehouse for 38 years until his retirement in 1994. Pat married Donna Mae Haines on June 11, 1960 and she preceded him in death on December 12, 1991. Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden and sharing the vegetables he grew and Pat enjoyed just simply working. Pat is survived by his children, Michael (Laurie) Eitniear of Interlochen, Florida; Michelle (Art) Miller of Shelby; Chris (Laura) Eitniear of Hesperia; special friend, Carol Storms of Hesperia; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; his brother, Jack (Jackie) Eitniear of Hesperia; his sister, Bonnie (Pepe) Arvizo of Chesaning; several nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Bollenbach. VISITATION : Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, November 22, 2010 at 1:00pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : West Hesperia Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : American Cancer Society.
