Patrick M. Fetterley, age 60 of Montague, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at his home following a short illness. Pat was born on April 8, 1955 in White Cloud to Orlo W. and Edith M. (Mirkle) Fetterley and has been a longtime resident of the area. Pat had worked at Briggs Lumber Company for many years and also worked for Mid State Utilities. Pat attended the Holton United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting in his younger years, Detroit Tiger Baseball, was a former member of the White Cloud Fire Department and had been very active in the AA program in Newaygo County where he re-established the chapter at the Newaygo County Jail. Pat is survived by his son, Patrick Fetterley II of White Cloud; his life partner, Julia Betka of Montague; his sisters and brothers Carl Fred Mirkle of Fremont; Carla (Daniel) Shavalier of Eagleville, Tennessee; Wendy (Richard) Strong of Fremont; Sally Geeting of Murfreesboro, Tennesee; Peggy St. John of Murfreesboro, Tennesee; Kristi (Charles) Andrews of Fletcher, North Carolina; Steven (Bonnie) Fetterley of White Cloud; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. VISITATION : Monday, November 16, 2015 from 10am 11am at the White Cloud United Methodist Church (1125 E Newell Street White Cloud MI 49349) MEMORIAL SERVICES : Monday at 11am at the White Cloud United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Selleck of the Holton United Methodist Church presiding. INTERMENT : White Cloud Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : To the Pat Fetterley family to assist with expenses, c/o Crandell Funeral Home.
