Patsy J. Boukamp, age 78 of Cedar Creek Township, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Brookhaven Medical Care Facility in Muskegon following a lingering illness. Patsy was born on November 1, 1935 in Muskegon to Erne H. and Lillie B. (Gjestrum) Mathews and has been a lifelong resident of the Cedar Creek area. Patsy had been an office manager for several years and enjoyed taking care of stray animals and caring for the disadvantaged. She was an accomplished musician, playing the organ, piano, accordion, and various other instruments. She was also a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick. Patsy is survived by her children, Gary (significant other, Diana) Boukamp of Twin Lake; Vicki (Bob) Warber of Twin Lake; Mark Boukamp of Norton Shores; grandchildren, Holly Wood, Cody Boukamp, Trevor Boukamp; her sister, Linda S. Welsh of Norton Shores; nephews, Brian and David Knight and several other nieces and nephews. VISTITATION : Monday, June 2, 2014 from 9:30-10:30am at the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick with MEMORIAL MASS SERVICES at 10:30 at the church. INTERMENT : Oakwood Cemetery in Holton.
