Paul H. Johnson, age 79 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at his home following a long decline in his health.  Paul was born on September 6, 1944 in White Cloud to Harold and Amelia (Morgensen) Johnson and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1963.  Soon after graduation, Paul was drafted in the United States Army and served as a combat veteran during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge.   Paul married Charolette Wolever on November 9, 1968 in White Cloud and has been a lifelong resident of the White Cloud area.  Paul had been a superintendent for Utility Contracting for over 35 years until his retirement.  Paul enjoyed work, whether it was on the job or at home, he was always busy.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and following their daily activities and enjoyed a cold beer at the end of the day.

Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years, Charolette of White Cloud; his children, Rhonda (Patrick) Hedlund of White Cloud; Cory (Chrissy) Johnson of White Cloud; Eric (Melissa) Johnson of Santa Fe, Texas; grandchildren, Tyler (Brittany Bush) Johnson; Corissa (Frank Struble) Johnson; Bailey Johnson, Carly Hedlund; Emily Hedlund; several great grandchildren; his brother, Lee (Sheryl) Johnson; sister-in-law, Irene Mullins; Grace (Robert) Dakin; many nieces and nephews he adored; many foreign exchange students including, Johan (Marika) Castor of Sweden; Anne Werner Quero of Germany; Max Werner of Germany; Marie Werner of Germany.  Paul was preceded in death by his grandson, Ashton Johnson; his parents, Harold and Amelia Johnson; mother and father-in-law, Eldon and Ruby Wolever; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Leonard Olson; sister, Janet Tanis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law,  Charlene and Jim Wolever; his nephews, Scott Mullins and Vaughn Tanis; his niece, Laura Simmet.
