Paul Ray Perryman, age 53 of Middlebury, Indiana, formerly of Newaygo County, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his daughters home in Cedar Springs following his battle with cancer. Paul was born on July 23, 1969 in Florence, Alabama to Betty Ann Platz and attended Stocking High School. Paul later lived in the Newaygo County area, Grand Rapids area and moved to Middlebury in 2011. Paul had worked as a forklift driver for Formula Trailer and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Middlebury, Indiana. Paul enjoyed Nascar and especially enjoyed following Chase Elliott, bonfires, cruising the back roads listening to music, attending car races at Berlin Raceway and was close to his church family in Middlebury, Indiana. Paul is survived by his children, Tracie Kakoczki and family of Cedar Springs; Michael Kakoczki and family of Cedar Springs; Amanda Kakoczki and family of Cedar Springs; Joe Kakoczki and family of White Cloud; Sabrina Potter of Grand Haven; Daytona Vanspriell of Florida; Summer Papke of Sturgis, Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 1 grandchild due in April 2023; his mother, Betty A. Platz of White Pigeon; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul was preceded in death by his former wife, Lisa Perryman on February 5, 2021.
