Pauline G. Dietz, age 57 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 19, 2001 at her home. She was born on January 26, 1944 in Grand Rapids to Paul and Katherine (Kors) Ellen and later married Kenneth Dietz. She has been a resident of the White Cloud area for the past 5 years when she moved from Sand Lake and had been a homemaker and member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in White Cloud. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of White Cloud; her sons, Phillip J. (Elaine) Smith of Middleville; Jeffrey S. (Jill) Smith of White Cloud; Paul T. Smith of Hudsonville; Johnathon G. (Chris) Smith of Grand Rapids; Kevin Dietz of Indian Lakes; Chad Dietz of Indian Lakes; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Cathy (Don) Vanhawken of White Cloud; Luann Helgensen of Kalamazoo; her brother, Loren Ellen of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 23, 2001 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with interment in the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
