Pauline L. Rayman, age 100 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, February 05, 2014 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. Pauline was born on January 17, 1914 in Toledo, Ohio to Fredrick A. and Lena (Bethge) Blank and later married Melvin Rayman on February 1, 1936 in Toledo. Melvin preceded her in death on July 26, 1988. Pauline moved to the Fremont area in 1954 from Toledo and had been a custodian at the Fremont Public Library until her retirement. Pauline was especially proud of her 3 sons for their dedication and commitment to the United States for their combined military service of over 50 years. Pauline is survived by her sons, Melvin Rayman of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Gene (Ruth) Rayman of Spokane, Washington; daughter-in-law, Sally Jo Rayman of Fremont; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard J. Rayman on February 23, 2012. Following her wishes, cremation will take place and interment of the cremated remains will take place at the Sherman Township Cemetery in the spring of 2014.
