Peggy M. Tower, age 61, of White Cloud passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at home. She was born on June 6, 1943, in Grand Rapids to Paul Irwin and Ruth (Ousterwal) Scoby and married Daniel Tower on August 7, 1964, in Grand Rapids. She was a member of Big Prairie Community Church and loved to sing. Peggy is survived by her husband Daniel of White Cloud; daughters, Christine Ann (Tim) Holt of Newaygo and Wendy Sue (Troy) Cloud of Big Rapids; sons, David (Mickey) Scott Tower of Pierson and Russell Lee (Kathy) Tower of Layton, Utah; 8 grandchildren; mother, Ruth Scoby of Grand Rapids; sister, Ellen Scoby of Grand Rapids; brother, William (Barbara) Scoby of Grand Rapids; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Paul. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 25, 2004, at the Big Prairie Community Church with Rev. Arnie Guikema officiating. Interment was in Big Prairie Everett Cemetery. For a more lasting memorial, the family asks that friends consider the Big Prairie Community Church Building Fund.
