Penny Jo Randall, age 53 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at her home. Penny was born on December 14, 1968 in Grand Rapids to James Allen and Violet May (Brown) Welch and has been a lifelong resident of Michigan. Penny had traveled to several states throughout the United States for season work opportunities and had worked at Ed's Grocery as a clerk and later worked at Ice Mountain in Big Rapids. Penny enjoyed fishing, hunting, pitching horseshoes, was always quick with a joke to cheer you up, singing karoke, raising her houseplants, playing bingo and gaming. Penny was always willing to lend a hand to other people and loved being a mother to her 3 sons and 2 step sons. Penny is survived by her sons, Timothy Jennett, stationed in Colorado with the United States Army and his daughter, due in June, Evelyn; Mitchell Welch of Morley, Michigan; Zacharia (Mariah) Randall of Hesperia and their children, Colton and Wyatt; step sons, Chas Randall of Hesperia and Bruce Randall of Evart; her brother, Bobby DeBoer; a longtime friend, Bryan Killebrew. Penny was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Sherri, Betty, Robin, Vicki, Jim and Tom. Family services will be held at a later date at the family home following Penny's request for cremation.
