Peter Francis Skeberdis, age 79, of Fremont passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at his home. Peter was born on September 28, 1937, in Flint to Peter and Alice (Partridge) Skeberdis and married Janet Helen Swan in 1959, in Big Rapids. Peter was an industrial chemist for Gerber Products Company, worked in quality control and had served as president of the Gerber Plant Employees Union. Peter is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Peter Ned (Jeanette) Skeberdis of Carson City and John William Skeberdis of White Cloud; granddaughter, Amber; and step grandson, Adam.
