Phillip G. Beets, age 75 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. Phil was born on July 2, 1938 in White Oak, Tennessee to Marion R. and Imagene (VanderPoole) Beets and married Becky Lee Fitzgerald on August 14, 1976 in Ravenna. Phil had been an engineer for Anaconda Wire and Cable Company in Muskegon and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Phil was a member of the Aetna Calvary Church. Phil is survived by his loving wife Becky; children, Phillip (Deb) Beets of Muskegon, Larry Beets of Muskegon, Greg Beets of Muskegon, Traci (Chris) Miron of Sand Lake, Kevin (April Bylund) Beets of Minnesota, Wendy (James) Convey of White Cloud, Thomas (Amy) Fitzgerald of White Cloud, Angela (John) Powers of White Cloud, and David (Kimberly) Beets of Fremont; grandchildren, Tessa Croschere, Brett Croschere, Mike (Kelly) Beets, Mandy (Lew) Beets, Yolanda (Saul) Salazar, Joe Beets, Chris (Meghan) Miron Jr., Dustin (Layna) Miron, Kevin Beets, Kory Beets, Kassondra Foster, Katrina Beets, Kaylee Beets, Jazzmine Beets, C.J. (Kristen) Convey, Brianna Convey, Sebastian Convey, Tylar Fitzgerald, Katelynn Fitzgerald, Jennifer Powers, Jesse Lee Powers, Alexandrea Beets, Phillip Beets, Emilee Beets, and Crystal; great grandchildren, Kaitlin Croschere, Gabriell Croschere, Megan Croschere, Rebecca Croschere, Madisyn Bowen, Korson Bowen, Alleanna Roderiguez, Jose Salazar, Juan Salazar, Haylee Miron, Dalton Miron, Violet Miron, and Mason Convey; great great grandchild, Jesus Bocanegra Jr.; sister, Ginny (Dewey) Haskins; many nieces and nephews; and Phils sidekick, Chloe, his Jack Russell Terrier. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 11am at the Funeral Home.
