Phyllis Jean Stone, age 85 of Muskegon, formerly of Holton, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, surrounded by family. Phyllis was born on July 2, 1938, to Adrian and Hazel (Harrington) Ross. Phyllis enjoyed reading, needlework, and puzzles.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Tammy (Alan) Jager of Holton, Brian Stone of Dover, Arkansas, Melanie (Sandy Higgins) Stone of Moberly, MO, Kimberly (James) Macy of Clarksville, Arkansas; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her sister, Geneva Thomas of Fremont; her brother, David (Peggy) Ross of Fremont. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Hazel Ross; her son, Daniel Lee Stone; her granddaughter, Ellen Stone Babcock; her sister Darlene Wilson; and her brother-in-law Jim Thomas.

Private services and interment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Ellie's Place in Grand Rapids or Hospice of Michigan.
