Obituary

Ralph Bud Jones, 71 of White Cloud died Monday, May 31, 2010, at his home after a short bout with cancer. Bud was born on July 23, 1938, at home in Ensley Center to Ralph and Marian (Tawney) Jones and had lived most of his life in the White Cloud/Newaygo area. Bud married Rose McCue and they had 3 children - Roger, Julie, and Rick. Bud married Regina Reggie Hansen of Dorr in 1978, and they had 3 children Jon, Sara, and Becky all of White Cloud. Bud retired from IBEW Local #876 as a Substation Journeyman in 2001 after 30 years. He enjoyed his retirement hunting, watching racing and sports, and going to the local restaurants every morning for coffee. Bud was also proud to serve his country in the United States Air Force. Bud is survived by his wife of 31 years, Reggie of White Cloud; their children, Jon Jones, Sara Jones, and Becky (Eric) Farber all of White Cloud; his children from his first marriage, Roger Jones, Julie McCue, and Rick Jones; brother, Norman (Mary) Jones of Grand Rapids; special brother Jerry Boss of Newaygo; and many nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marian Jones; brothers, Robert Bobby Jones, Gerald Jerry Jones, and Kenneth Kenny Jones; and sister, Judith Judy Heintzelman. According to his request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010, between the hours of 2 4 PM, at the family home. Buds family wishes to thank the Hospice Of Michigan nurses and staff for Buds care during his illness. Those wishing to make memorial contributions, please consider the family.
