Ralph D. Mink, age 63 of Hesperia, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Ralph was born on March 11, 1949 in Muskegon to Ralph Harley and Virginia Mae (Hennesey) Mink Sr. Ralph has been a lifelong resident of the area where he had been a truck driver for several years until his retirement. Ralph married Judith A. Carpenter on December 8, 1972 in Grand Rapids. Ralph has been a lifelong seasoned musician and traveled with his band Loose Country throughout the United States playing country music. Ralph also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and traveling to the Michigan upper peninsula. Ralph served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Holton American Legion, # 397and Fremont V.F.W., #6898. SURVIVORS : his wife, Judy of White Cloud; his children, Tina (John) Riggs of Ravenna; Don Durham of Holton; Deanna (Joel) Bulson of Holton; Gina Smith of White Cloud; Ralph (Kassy) Mink Jr. of Manistee; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his sisters, Judy Benedict of Apopka, Florida; Cheryl VerBoon of Orlando, Florida; Maryjean Rhoads of Muskegon; Tammy Dillan of Apopka, Florida; several nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia, his father, Ralph Sr.; his daughter, Kimberly Mink; grandson, Dakota Smith; son-in-law, Larry Smith. VISITATION : Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 1-3pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 3pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with military rites following at the Crandell Funeral Home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Ralph D.
