Randy Lee "Hot Dog" Brown, age 74 of Newaygo County, passed away Monday, April 27, 2023. Hot Dog was born on July 21, 1948 in Muskegon to Alger "Al" and Lillian Marie (Tozer) Brown. Hot Dog served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he received the Bronze Star. Hot Dog enjoyed, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling & the outdoors. He was also an enthusiast of motorcycles, he never turned down a race & he never lost a race." Hot Dog is survived by his children, Shannon Brown; Victoria Williams; Cheyenne Brown; Randi Brown; his grandchildren, Michelle Brown; Natalie Childress; Hailey Childress; Naomi Childress; Frank Williams; Willow Lathers; Maribel Barrios; Leilona Lathers; Giovanni Barrios; Nathaniel Lathers II; his great granddaughter, Skylar Brown; his sister, Lucinda "Cindy" Burkle. Military Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 4pm at the East Hesperia Cemetery 8800 W 1 Mile Road Hesperia MI 49421.
