Randolph "Randy" Carl Gooding, age 67 of White Cloud, formerly of Waynesburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Born on September 1, 1950 and was given the name Randolph Carl but preferred to just be called "Randy". Randy was born to Franklin and Norma (DelGratta) Gooding and grew up in the Waynesburg, Ohio area. Randy worked various jobs throughout the United States and met and later married Christine D. Thumser on June 28, 1997 in White Cloud. Randy loved to cook, like deer hunting in the fall, refinishing wood furniture and always enjoyed visiting with family and friends over a cup of coffee. Randy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Christine of White Cloud; his son, Joshua (April) Gooding of Weirton, West Virginia; his grand daughters, Annalea and Morganne; brothers, John Gooding and Steve Gooding of Ohio; his mother-in-law, Audrey Thumser of White Cloud; sister-in-law, Connie Hart of White Cloud. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Norma Gooding; his father-in-law, Conrad Thumser; and his faithful companion of many years, Jubilee.
