Randy S. Herin, age 64, of Hesperia, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Spectrum Health Services Gerber Memorial. Randy was born on November 18, 1947, in Shelby to Darroll and Veva (Conroy) Herin and married Cheryl Buchanan on February 11, 1967, in Hesperia. Randy had worked at Howmet earlier in life and was co-owner of Herin Brothers Trucking in Hesperia. Over the years, Randy enjoyed traveling and camping. Randy is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl; children, Brian (Lisa McDonald) Herin of Kalamazoo, Todd (Amy) Herin of Grant, and Kristen (Steve) Wiersema of Fremont; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; parents, Darroll and Veva; brothers, Terry (Jan) Herin of Hesperia and Dan (Diane) Herin of Hesperia; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with Rev Paul Hane officiating. There will be visitation 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Hesperia Cemetery.
