Raymond E. Botten, age 39, of Holton passed away unexpectedly following complications from surgery. Ray was born on June 30, 1975, to Gary and Nancy Botten in Muskegon and was a Test Laboratory Technician at Saf-Holland in Muskegon. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, classic cars, spending time on his quad and jeep, shooting guns, and spend time with family and friends. Ray is survived by the love of his life, Pamela Mae Pesch of Holton; his daughters, Kendra Erin Botten of Hesperia and Kenna Violet Botten of Ravenna; mother, Nancy Botten of Fremont; grandchildren, Brant Hutson, Amelia Hutson, and Laney Tyler; his sisters, Deanna (Russ) Botten of Hesperia, Brenda Botten of Hesperia, and Karrie (Mark) Hayes of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary. There will be visitation on Thursday, December 11, 2014, from 5 8 PM at the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Bottten family to assist with expenses.
