Richard Noel Evans, age 79 of Peachtree City, Georgia and formerly of Zephyrhills, Florida and White Cloud, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2002 at Atlanta, Georgia. He was born on December 7, 1922 in Big Prairie Township to Oscar and Florence (Bristol) Evans and married Martha Mudget on November 3, 1951 in White Cloud. Martha preceded him in death on July 7, 1983. Richard had been a electrical lineman for many years and was a 50 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Richard is survived by his children, Bonnie (Jim) Houdek of Lemont, Illinios; Robert (Karen) Evans of Berkley, Illinois; Nancy (Donald) Blair of Peachtree City, Georgia; Lois Evans of McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey; Lee (Lynette) Evans of San Bernadino, California; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Nichols; one brother, Harry Evans; and a granddaughter, Kelly Mason. A memorial graveside service was held on Monday, July 15, 2002 at 11:00am from the Big Prairie Everett Township Cemetery.
