Frodel, Richard "Dick" F. Richard Dick F. Frodel, age 57 of Newaygo, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2005 at his home. Dick was born on September 23, 1948 in Grand Rapids to Edward F. and Eileen M. (Guenther) Frodel and grew up in Belmont and later graduated from Rockford High School. He was a member of the Christ The King Catholic Church in Howard City and enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and the Michigan outdoors. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his children, Edward Frodel of Grand Rapids; Michelle Davidson of Newaygo; his fianc, Karen Cantrell of Greenville; 4 grandchildren; his sisters, Joyce M. (Ronald) Post of Belmont; Barbara A. (Steven G.) Enter of Rockford; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Eileen Frodel and his brother, Thomas E. Frodel. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Memorial Mass were held on Thursday, December 15 2005 at the Christ The King Catholic Church in Howard City with Rev. Troy Nevins presiding.
