Johnny Johnson, age 63, of Fremont passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. Johnny was born on March 6, 1946, in Fremont and married Anne Wright on January 16, 1965. He retired from Gra-Bell Trucking in June of 2008, after driving truck for many years. Johnny was a devoted husband and father and loved fishing, hunting, and was a member of the Fremont Loyal Order of Moose. Johnny is survived by his wife Anne; daughter Tami (Lou) Brinkman of Hesperia; grandchildren, Steven & Michael Johnson, Britni & Tyler Brinkman, and Brandon Clay; and daughter-in-law Kelly Luchies. Johnny was preceded in death by his son Richard Brian Johnson in 1996. Funeral services were held at 11 am, Wednesday, July 1, 2009, from the Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont with Heartland Hospice Chaplain Pastor Doug Bennett officiating. Interment was in East Hesperia Cemetery. There was a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. For a more lasting memorial, friends are asked to consider Heartland Hospice.
