In 1977, he was truly instrumental in saving my father's life when he was buried alive on a job site. Every Nov 7th I take time to remember how fate could have determined a different outcome if it was not for Dick and his expert abilities as a heavy machine operator. The man was a blessing in my life by saving the life of my father.
