Richard Henry Smith Jr., age 29, of Holton passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. Richard was born on April 10, 1993, in Muskegon to Richard Henry Smith Sr. and Karen Rae Sanford and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Richard is survived by his son, Richard H. Smith III of Holton; father, Richard H. (Racheal Ring) Smith Sr. of Hesperia; mother, Karen Rea DeLong of Holton; brothers and sister, Nate Smith, Logan Smith, and Desi Smith; grandparents, Betty Nye, Clayton & Eleanor Smith, and Raymond & Darlene Sanford; many friends, uncles, aunts, cousins, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dan Nye; aunt, Judy Smith; nephew, Braiden Smith; and step-mother, Kelly Smith. A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 2 - 4 PM at the Hesperia American Legion.
