Rick L. Poore, age 63 of White Cloud, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully at his home on August 24, 2020. Rick was born on June 29, 1957 in Paragould, Arkansas to Junior and Nancy (Harson) Poore and later moved to the Grand Rapids area and eventually moved to the White Cloud area. Rick had been a self-employed carpenter and truck driver and was a member of the White Cloud Eagles, Arie Post #4170. Rick attended the Woodville Community Church, enjoyed playing pool, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing and storytelling. Rick is survived by his son, Rickey (fiancé, Emily Kuzniar) Poore Jr. of Grand Rapids; step sons, Howard Taylor of Grand Rapids; Harold Taylor of Grand Rapids; his grandson, Rickey Poore III; granddaughter, Brittany Hall; his brothers and sisters, Frank (Kim) Poore of Grand Rapids; Lilly (Mike) Vanhouten of Grand Rapids; Shelly Evick of Grand Rapids; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Nancy; by his daughter, Nancy Sue Hall; his sisters, Lori Boss and Barb McClurken and by his brother, Robert Poore. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the family home at a later date following cremation with final interment in the Graceland Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids next to his daughter and brother.
