Rika Louise Lutkes, age 64, of White Cloud passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, with her family by her side. Rika was born on November 30, 1958, in East Grand Rapids to George Walter and Eva Mae (Benham) Moomey and had worked in food service. Rika enjoyed crocheting and was a talented artist. She enjoyed doing diamond dot art and found it was a great help to get through her journey with pain. Rika loved her children and grandchildren and cherished her time spent with them. Rika is survived by children, Shawn B. (Paula) Moomey of White Cloud and Candida Kimball of White Cloud; grandchildren, Gregory Keith Edmaiston, Kelasondra Louise Kimball, Serenity Kimball, Logan Stahl, Destiny Nelson, Julian Ager, Alivia Ager, and Christian Matthew Moomey; brothers and sisters, George (Diane) Moomey of Kent City, Ida Guiles of Kent City, Rick (Jana) Moomey of Grant, Bill (Carol) Moomey of Lake City, John (Chris) Moomey of Sparta, Jim (Tracy) Moomey of Grant, Eva (Rod) Stark of Grant, and Millie Hall of Kent City; and many nieces and nephews. Rika was preceded in death by her father and mother, George and Eva. A memorial service for Rika will be held at 11AM on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Crandell Funeral Home in White Cloud with Pastor Robert Hait from the Rush Creek Bible Church officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A time of luncheon and fellowship will be held following the service at the Everett Township Hall.
