Rinda Catherine "Cathy" Boerma, age 62, of Fremont and formerly of Grand Haven, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2001, at her home following a long illness. She was born on November 27, 1938, in Cookeville, Tennessee to Benton and Billie (Wilson) Grimes and was a graduate of Grand Haven High School. She married Marvin Boerma on December 23, 1993 and was an administrative assistant at Eagle Ottawa Leather Company prior to her retirement. She was also a former member of the HAGS. Survivors include her loving husband, Marvin of Fremont; sons, Maurice Greg (Theresa) Wilson of Norton Shores and Ronald (Diane) Wilson of Grand Haven; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Jeanie (Bob) Wenzel of Falls Church, Virginia and Cynthia Lane of Orange Beach, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Billie Janke. Funeral services were held on Tuesday October 16, 2001. Interment will be in Spring Lake Township Cemetery.
