Robert F. Belbeck, age 80 of Iverness, Florida and formerly of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2000 at the Citrus Memorial Hospital in Iverness. He was born on June 9, 1920 in DeWitt, Michigan to John Wesley and Ethel (Lynch) Belbeck and married Edith McDermidt on October 7, 1939 in Flint. He has been a Power House Stationary Engineer for the Ford Motor Company until his retirement in the 1971 and was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Edith of Iverness, Florida; his children, Diane (Gordon) Thompson of White Cloud; James Robert (Patsy) Belbeck of Stockbridge, MI; Frederick (Maxine) Belbeck of Belleville, MI; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grand children; sister, Mildred (Elwin) Barkman of Davison, MI; half brother, Rupert (Rachael) Belbeck of Seattle, Washington. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 20, 2000 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Rev. Jerry Jaquish of the White Cloud United Methodist Church presiding with military rites being given by the Newaygo V.F.W. Sportsmans Post #4249 at the Big Prairie Township Cemetery.
