Myers, Robert Robert Joseph Bob Myers, age 75 of White Cloud, went to be with his precious Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 27, 2007. Bob was born on March 13, 1932 in Weidman, MI to Paul Y. and Bertha (Chaffee) Myers. He married Patricia Shaul on June 3, 1961 in Pontiac and together they moved to the White Cloud area 45 years ago. Bob had been a machinist at the Benedict Manufacturing Company in Big Rapids for 35 years until his retirement in 1996 and attended the Free Methodist Church of Stanwood. Bob had been the Big Prairie Township Fire Department Fire Chief for 12 years during his 17 years of service to the fire department and also served in Big Prairie Township on the Big Prairie Township Board and Township Parks Board for 10 years. He enjoyed meeting and talking with people in the community and church, he enjoyed living on the river in the Big Bend area, golfing and spending time at his home relaxing. SURVIVORS : his wife of 45 years, Patricia of White Cloud; his children, Robert Michael Myers of Engadine, MI; Wayne (Joan) Myers of Shelby Twp.; Michelle (Robert) Wood of Newaygo; Paul (Tina) Myers of Newaygo; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his mother, Bertha Card of Fremont; sisters, Bon (Dick) Mulholland of Greenville, IL; Delores Bedell of Linden, MI; brother, Jerome (Joan) Myers of Horton, MI; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Y. Myers and his brother, Larry Myers. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Pastor Ron White of the Free Methodist Church of Stanwood presiding with interment in the Big Prairie Township Cemetery.
