Payne, Robert Richard "Dick" Robert R. Dick Payne, age 63 of Brohman, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at his home. Dick was born on February 20, 1943 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania to Robert Lee and Doris Virginia (Cooley) Payne and grew up in Kane, Pennsylvania. Dick later moved to the Brohman area,with his wife Wanda, in 1992 from Grand Rapids. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, animals and had worked as a maintenance worker until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Wanda of Brohman; his children, Brenda (Matthew) Koza of Kane, Pennsylvania; Steven Payne of Ludlow, Pennsylvania; Kimberlee (James) Shingola of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Jessica Koza; Richard Koza; Steven Payne; Danielle Payne; Jasen Payne; James Shingola; Dominik Shingola; his great grandchildren, Logan Koza; Madison Koza; Talia Shingola; Jalynn Shingola; several other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held during the week of September 11, 2006 at the Bordens Funeral Home in Sheffield, Pennsylvania with interment in the Aber/Sorenson Cemetery in Cherry Grove, Pennsylvania.
