Robert "Bob" Erber Jr., age 89, a man of deep faith, went to be with his heavenly Father on May 21, 2021. He was born June 16, 1931, in Chicago, to Robert and Frieda (Rauch) Erber. After teaching school in Oak Lawn, Illinois for 4 years, Bob was then employed by Gerber Products Company for 31 years retiring in 1990 as Vice-President of Marketing. Bob enjoyed years of project volunteering for Ave Maria University in Naples, and his Church, and various civic organizations in Fremont. Bob sang in his church choir and frequently played piano accompaniment for a gospel singing ensemble. Over the years, Bob served and often chaired the various governing boards of his Church having served as Moderator in 1974.
Bob loved to celebrate life and share the joys and victories of his family and dear friends. His life was abundantly blessed and he remained grateful throughout his earthly journey.
