Casey, Robert "Pat" J. Robert Pat J. Casey, age 54 of Holland , formerly of Fremont , passed away Friday, September 27, 2002 at his home. He was born on November 11,1947 in Champagne-Urbana , Illinois to Donald F. and Beth (Miller) Casey and married Janice VandenBeldt on June 12, 1971 in Fremont . Pat has been a resident of the Holland area for the past 4 years where he was a sales associate at Standard Lumber. He has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was a former member of the Fremont Moose and had been active in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program in Newaygo County . He is survived by his wife, Janice of Holland; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher & Sara Casey of Holland; his mother, Beth Culp of Traverse City; his step father, Earl Culp of Hesperia; sisters and brothers, Mary Culp of Miami, Florida; Greg Culp of Hesperia; Theresa (Ray) Berlin of Largo, Florida; Dan Culp of Grand Rapids; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; his sister-in-law, Anne Ludwick of Newaygo. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald F. Casey and a brother, Michael Casey. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 1, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev. Cleo Ludwick presiding with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont . Friends may consider the Robert Casey Family for memorial contributions.
