Robert "Bob" Jay Trapp, age 73, of White Cloud passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at his home. Bob was born on September 13, 1948, in Grand Rapids to Charles J. and Norma L. (McCarty) Trapp and married Patricia Ann Simington on April 17, 1971, in Grand Rapids. Bob had worked at Keeler Brass in his younger years and most recently at Almighty Concrete Construction. Bob enjoyed farming, NASCAR, sharing football statistics, fishing, his family, visiting with neighbors, was a loyal Lions Football fan, and a master story teller. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; children, Cary Ann Trapp of Fremont, Caley Jo Trapp of Grand Rapids, and Carla Rae Trapp of White Cloud, grandchildren, Kyle Trapp-Hyrns, Lindsey Hyrns, Sidney Hyrns, and Bradley Trapp; sister-in-law, Linda Trapp; brother-in-law, Ken Fish; many nieces and nephews; his best friend from his childhood, Tom Bartlett; and close friends and co-workers, Tim Greenman and Curt Dyk. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Norma; brothers and sister, Roger A. Trapp, Ronald Trapp, and Ruth Fish. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Big Prairie Community Church with Pastor Arnie Guikema and Pastor Steve DeHaan officiating. There will be visitation prior to the service at the Church starting at 10 AM. Interment will be in Big Prairie Cemetery.
