Robert Joe Paul, age 54, of Las Vegas, Nevada and formerly of Hesperia, Michigan passed away on January 31, 2021 at the Mike O'Callaghan Medical Center on the Nellis Air force Base in Las Vegas. Robert (also known as Bobby), grew up in Hesperia and graduated from Hesperia High School in 1984. His fondest memories were swimming in the White River and playing ball with his brother. Bobby was an avid baseball card collector and a walking encyclopedia of sports and history. He was a huge Jeff Gordon and loved the #24. Joe was a 22 year veteran of the United States Air Force and was an E-7 Master Sergeant. After his retirement, he started working at the Catholic Charities Services of Las Vegas as a purchasing manager. There he picked up the nickname of JP by his fellow workers. He was loved by everyone and treated everyone with dignity and respect.
Joe is survived by his devoted wife, Julie; daughters and son, Lynn, Cheryl, and Jordan; granddaughters, Ellena and Lana; mother, Bea Paul; brother and sisters, Larry, Jeannie, and Connie; many nieces and nephews; and his dog Precious. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Paul and his beloved dogs, Meisha, Mehyya, and Biloxi. According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
A Celebration Of Life and Military Honors will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the Branstrom Park Pavilion in Fremont.
