Robert R. Johnson, age 57 of Holton, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Spectrum Health Continue Care Facility in Grand Rapids. Robert was born on January 18, 1958 in Muskegon to Homer and Alice I. (Ransom) Johnson and graduated from Holton High School. Robert has been a longtime resident of the Holton area. Robert had worked as a tour bus driver in the Los Angeles, California area for a period of time and enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on his motorcycles and cars. Robert is survived by his daughter, Rachel Benham of Ozark, Missouri; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Perez, Taylor Perez and Matthew Perez all of Reeds Spring, Missouri; his sister and brothers, Homer L. Johnson of Holton; Candice Applegate of Holton; Randy Johnson of Holton; Rex (Sue) Johnson of Twin Lake; Luke (Datalena) Johnson of Cedar Springs; Brenda (Robert) Miller of Muskegon; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert was preceded in death by his mother and father, Alice Johnson-Carrp and Homer Johnson and his sister, Ruth Johnson , Celebration of Life Services will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holton Church of God with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery in Holton. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Robert Johnson Family to assist with funeral expenses in memory of Robert.
