Robert "Bobby" H. Jones, age 54 of White Cloud, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 16, 2001 at his home. He was born on March 6, 1947 in Fremont to Ralph and Marion L. (Tawney) Jones and has been a longtime resident of the White Cloud area. He had been a attendant at the Everett Township Transfer Station for several years and was a volunteer for many activities in Everett Township. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era where he served in the United States Army and was a member of the Hesperia American Legion. He is survived by his mother, Marion Jones of White Cloud; his sisters and brothers, Ralph (Regina) Jones of White Cloud; Kenneth A. Jones of Newaygo; Judith (Paul) Heintzelman of White Cloud; Norman (Mary) Jones of Grand Rapids; Gerald Jones of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Jones. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 18, 2001 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with Mr. Clifford Jones presiding with interment in the Parkview Cemetery in Grant.
