Robert L. Rob Stickney Jr., age 47 of Holton, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at his home. Rob was born on November 24, 1964 in Muskegon to Robert and Sheila (Shull) Stickney Sr. and has been a longtime resident of the area. Rob graduated from Grant High School in 1982 and has worked the metal stamping industry for many years. Rob was known for being a work-a-holic had truly enjoyed working as a press operator at Acemco in Spring Lake. Rob married Becky Mathews on March 24, 2006 in Hart and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and tinkering and building with his son, Trevor. Rob is survived by his wife, Becky of Holton; his son, James Stickney of Grant; his daughter, Stevie Stickney of Newaygo; his son, Trevor Mathews of Holton; his mother, Sheila Shull of Grant; his brother, Jeff Stickney of Coopersville; several aunts; his father-in-law, Wilbur (Luann) Mathews of Grant. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stickney Sr. VISITATION: Monday, October 1, 2012 from 12-2pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel.
