Robert Lynn Gibson, age 84 of White Cloud, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital. Lynn was born on July 24, 1929 to Donald and Hilda (Samels) Gibson in Williamsburg, Michigan and has been a longtime resident of the White Cloud area. Lynn graduated from White Cloud High School in 1947 and worked for the railroad for 10 years until he began work at the Gerber Products Company in Fremont in the printing and marketing department until his retirement after 30 years in 1991. Lynn was an avid bow hunter and lifetime member of the Michigan Bow Hunters Association. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, polka music and was an avid University of Michigan Football fan.

Lynn is survived by his children, Sharyl (Marvin) Helmker of Holt; Scott (Danette) Gibson of White Cloud; 6 grandchildren, Rachel (Blake) Strope, Sarah Helmker, Abigail, Helmker, Joanna Helmker, Jesse Gibson, Daniel Gibson, 1 great grandchild, Amelia Strope; his sister, Patricia (Orrie) Ebenstein of White Cloud; Donita (Robert) Thwaites of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Gibson.

VISITATION : Friday, March 21, 2014 from 5-7pm and Saturday from 12-1pm at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel. INTERMENT : White Cloud Cemetery.
