Robert L. Parke, age 83, of Brohman passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Alter Care of Big Rapids. Parke was born on March 15, 1931 in Muddlick, Kentucky and has had several careers ranging from auto manufacturing, and tree trimming to being self-employed. He was dedicated grandfather and spent much of his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Parke is survived by his children, Debbie Lockheart, Larry (Barb) Parke, Gracie Pietz, Robert L. Parke Jr., Lynn Marie (Lester) Storey, Phil Parke, Kenneth Prater, and Alicia (Kyle) Green; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by all his brothers and by one daughter, Kim. There will be a memorial service for Parke on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 12 noon at the Amazing Grace Acres Church with Pastor Lucky Fulton officiating.
