Robert "Bob" R. Weselo, age 78 of Walkerville, formerly of Twin Lake, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence in Muskegon. Bob was born on June 29, 1941 in Fremont to Richard and Vera (Winchel) Weselo and later graduated from Reeths Puffer High School in the first graduating class at Reeths Puffer, in 1959. Bob was a lifelong resident of the area and had lived in Blue Lake Township and later moved to Walkerville. Bob had worked at Howmet Corporation for 40 years until his retirement in 2000. Bob served on the Blue Lake Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years of which he served as Chief for 8 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending auction sales and was a member of the NRA. He liked to draw and train racehorses in his younger years, with the Winchel family. Bob especially treasured attending, (never missing) his children or grandchildren's sporting or school events. Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma of Walkerville; his son, Jayson (Rochelle) Robins and their son and daughter, Rice and Ryann of Twin Lake; his sister, Carolyn King of Muskegon; niece, Diana (Roger) Lubbers; nephew, Richard (Shelley) Weselo; niece, Cheryl (Steve) Ward; nephew, Dennis King Jr.; special niece, Kelly (Todd) Galdeen and their children, Kari, Kali, and Brett; special nephew, David (Allison) Revell and their children, Tyler and Reily;. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Vera Weselo; his brother, Ronald Weselo; brothers-in-laws, Dennis King and Ray Zmarly; niece, Susan Zmarly Dick; and special family, LV & Penny Robins.
