Robert LeRoy Rogers Jr., age 48 of Bitely, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Hospital in Jackson, Michigan. Robert was born on May 19, 1972 in Shelby to Robert LeRoy and Barbara Johann (Morgan) Rogers Sr. and has been a longtime resident of the Bitely area. Robert had been an arborist and self-employed tree trimmer and enjoyed taking walks, mushroom hunting, fishing, the Michigan outdoors and yard work and was a member of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Robert is survived by his daughters, Brooke Anna Rose Rogers of White Cloud; Alexus Morgan Rogers of Big Rapids; his grandson, Guy Erien Weeks of Big Rapids; his father, Robert L. Rogers Sr. of Fremont; his sister Elizabeth (John) Kosla of White Cloud; his brother, Charles J. Bennett of White Cloud; many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara J. Rogers on December 11, 2019; his sister, Donna Joel Trapp; his brother, Samuel J. Bennett. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 2pm at the Lincoln Township Cemetery in White Cloud.
