Robert C. Stout, age 72 of Muskegon formerly of Fremont, passed away Thursday at the Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. He was born on Jan. 25, 1930 in Ionia and married Dorain Lewis on July 1, 1983. He had been a farmer on his father and grandfathers farm in Aetna from his birth until he moved to Muskegon in 1985 and also a production worker at Brunswick Corporation in Muskegon for several years until retirement. He is survived by his wife, Dorain of Muskegon; his children, David (Lynn) Stout of Fremont; Jack Stout of Fremont; Thomas Stout of Detroit; Linda Hills of Fremont; Daniel Stout of Fremont; Donna (Vince) Arcuri of St. Paul, MN; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Charlene Covington of Grant. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret (Hichue) Stout; a son, Donald Stout and a brother, Clayton Best. Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 3, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home-Fremont Chapel with Mr. Billy Hill presiding with interment in the East Hesperia Cemetery.
