Robert J. Taube Jr., "Handsome Bob" age 61 of Holton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his home. Bob was born on March 2, 1956 in Detroit to Robert James and Barbara (Bouwsma) Taube Sr. and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1974. After graduation, Bobby joined the United States Army where he served in the Military Police until his discharge. Bobby later worked as a union carpenter in California for 26 years until he returned to the West Michigan area in 1998. Bobby enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family and enjoyed interacting with children. Bobby is survived by his son, Victor (Alexis) Taube of California; 2 grandsons, Elijah and Silas; his parents, Robert "Bob" and Barbara Taube Sr. of White Cloud; his brothers and sister, Jeff (Elsa) Taube of Maryville, Tennessee; Gary (Joan) Taube of Fairbanks, Alaska; Jo Taube of White Cloud; his former wife, Christine Taube of Twin Lake; several nieces and nephews. VISITATION : Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 5-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home – White Cloud Chapel and Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 1-2pm at the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud.
