Tyler, Robert Dale Robert Dale Tyler, age 73 of Newaygo, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006 at his home. Bob was born on January 31, 1933 in Stanton, Michigan and later married Phyllis English on August 19, 1978 in Greenville, Michigan. Bob has been a resident of the Newaygo Area for the past 11 years where he was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Newaygo. Bob had been an active member of the Trinity Baptist Church; enjoyed woodworking and had been interested in American war history. Bob had worked for the United States Government as a mechanical engineer and was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Phyllis of Newaygo; 12 children, Gregory, Phillip, Kathy, Caroline, Robert, David, Mike, Dennis, Debbie, Diane, Yvonne, Michelle; 47 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ken Tyler and Revard Tyler Jr. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 6, 2006 at 2:00pm from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with visitation from 12-2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Force of the Trinity Baptist Church presiding.
