Robert BobbyJ. Wilk, age 46 of White Cloud, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at his home following a short illness. Bobby was born on August 1, 1968 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and grew up in Kent City until his sophomore year in school and moved to White Cloud. Bobby graduated from White Cloud High School in 1986 and married his high school sweetheart, Melinda Ackerman on May 19, 1990 in Newaygo. Bobby had worked at Federal Mogul in Sparta for 26 years until his retirement on August 1, 2014. He had also been a machine operator and was the bargaining chair for UAW Local 8. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed sharing his time hunting, fishing, trapping and camping with his family. Bobby also enjoyed being active in his childrens sports activities and hardly missed an opportunity to participate in their events. Bobby is survived by his wife of 25 years, Melinda of White Cloud; his children, Justin Wilk of Anchorage, Alaska; Caleb Wilk of White Cloud; Caitlin Wilk of White Cloud; his father, Robert (Annette) Wilk of White Cloud; his mother, Judy Proctor of White Cloud; sisters, Jessica (Pastor Phil) Wimmer of White Cloud; Julie (Josh) Ackerman of Easton, Minnesota; his mother-in-law, Diane Ackerman (Ken Fish) of White Cloud; sister-in-law, Lori Kukal (Mike Wright) of White Cloud; his nieces and nephews, Brett, Dylan, and Breanna Wimmer; Delanie and Kaden Ackerman; Madeline and Isabelle Cruzan, Zane Kukal; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orrin and Gertrude Wilk; Walter and Janet Proctor and his father-in-law, Michael Ackerman. VISITATION : Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 4-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel and 10-11am at the White Cloud United Methodist Church. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11am at the White Cloud United Methodist Church 1125 E Newell Street White Cloud. INTERMENT : White Cloud Cemetery.
