Robert Louis Zierleyn, age 61 of Newaygo, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Reed City. Robert was born on September 21, 1960 in Grand Rapids to Mary Zierleyn and Gene Hamock and had worked at Michigan Wheel in Grand Rapids until a disability forced him to retire. Robert loved fishing with the old boys in his life, spending time with his family; and was a U of M, Detroit Lions, Pistons, Tigers and Red Wings fan. Robert is survived by his daughter, Rikki Mobley of Newaygo; his brother, Daren Hamock of Ashton, Michigan; several nieces, nephews and great nephews; his step father, Harold Hamock of Sparta. Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Zierleyn; his mother, Mary Hamock; his father, Gene Hamock; his grandparents, Louis and Martha Zierleyn. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of the First Born and Revival Center 310 S. Higbee Street Reed City MI 49677.
