Roger A. Trapp, age 62 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the Great Lakes Specialty Hospital in Muskegon. Roger was born on May 30, 1951 in Grand Rapids to Charles J. and Norma L. (McCarty) Trapp and later married Linda J. Bowman on August 13, 1977 in Ludington. Roger had been a tool and die maker at Meridian Automotive Systems in Grand Rapids for many years. Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, Lionel model trains, woodcrafts, attending flea markets and was known to some as Santa Claus. Roger had also served his country in the United States Army and Michigan National Guard. Roger is survived by his wife, Linda of White Cloud; his daughters, Tracy Trapp of White Cloud; Theresa Trapp (special friend, Robert Wellman) of White Cloud; his grandchildren, Dominic Jelinek and Kendalin Trapp; his brother, Robert (Patricia) Trapp of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Trapp and Norma Oosterhaven in 2006; his sister, Ruth Fish in 2010; his brother, Ronald Trapp in 1991. VISITATION : Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 12 pm to 1 pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with FUNERAL SERVICES at 1:00 pm at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with military rites under the auspices of the Newaygo V.F.W. Sportsmans Post #4249. INTERMENT : Lincoln Township Cemetery.
