Roger Dale Wemple, age 60, died unexpectedly late Friday night March 15th, 2019. Roger was born on July 12, 1958 in Muskegon to Jerry Lou and Mildred I. (Klingler) Wemple Sr. and attended Hesperia schools. Roger later married Rebecca Marie Knight on November 2, 1979 in White Cloud. Roger began his career in the army medical specialist division. Roger went on to factory work, truck driving and provided for his family, and was known as a jack of all trades. Roger did find his passion in being a paramedic. He graduated from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, MI. From there he began various employment with Gerber Ambulance, Newaygo County Dispatch, Lake County Ambulance, Life EMS, and moved onto employment with Rockford and White Lake ambulance authority. Roger found joy in being a paramedic and helping others. Roger also enjoyed spending time with his family, and found joy in seeing his grandchildren. Roger had a passion for hunting, camping and the great outdoors. He enjoyed teaching his family how to hunt, fish, and the many activities that come with camping. Roger is proceeded in death by: Parents Mildred and Jerry Lou Wemple Sr.; Siblings: Debora Irene (Wemple) Taylor, Jerry Lou Wemple Jr., Raymond Jeffrey Wemple, Frederick Jay Wemple, and Samuel Richard Wemple, and nephew Allen Wemple. Roger is survived by: wife, Rebecca (Knight) Wemple; his children: Tanya Lynn (Wemple) Gordon (husband Casey and son Caden); Brian Adam Wemple (wife Katie and two son's Matthew and Elijah), Jennifer Shavon Wemple (fiancé Matt Harvey and daughter Ava), Amy Marie Wemple; Colin Jakob Wemple (significant other Samantha Degeer and daughter Madison), and Tony Lee Wemple. Roger is also survived by two adopted siblings: Andrea Lindsey and Tamera Wemple. Roger is also survived by many family members including nieces and nephews.
