Rolland R. Stout, age 80, of Fremont passed away in Muskegon on Sunday, March 27, 2016. Ron was born on January 18, 1936, in Newaygo County to Lawrence J. and Eva Marie (Fessenden) Stout and married Leona May Tozer on June 26, 1954, in Aetna. Ron retired in 1994 after working for 38 years at Gerber Products Company. He enjoyed sports, hunting, karaoke, pulling ponies, and spending time with his grandchildren. Ron is survived by his loving companion of 17 years, Pat Dailey of Muskegon; children, Beverly (William) Earehart of Twin Lake, Mary (Charles) Dickinson of Fremont, Wayne (Elizabeth) Stout of Fremont, Leo (Karen) Stout of White Cloud, and Jerry (Meghan) Stout of Ravenna; daughter-in-law, Ilene Stout; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Lawrence Stout of Florida, Herbert (Thyra) Stout of White Cloud, and Dorothy Gilland of Muskegon; sister-in-law, Rita Stout; and brother-in-law, Joe Brooks. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; son, Robert Stout; brother and sisters, Raymond Stout, Lucille Johnson, Joyce (Carl) Schotts. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the Aetna Calvary Church with Pastor Phil Jones officiating. There will be visitation at the Church prior to the service from 1 4 PM. Interment will be in West Hesperia Cemetery.
