Romelia "May" Hinton, age 80, of Fremont passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. May was born on December 23, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, to Joseph and Charlotte Garcia and had been a hair stylist. May enjoyed bowling, loved life, loved people, and cherished time with her family, and had a good sense of humor. May is survived by her children, Jesse (Kathy) Valencia of Culver, Indiana, and Laura (Mike) Hicks of Fremont; grandchildren, Joe Valencia, Kaitlyn Valencia, Hannah Valencia, Tian (Carl) Sivick, Gary Hinton, Karen Hinton, Jennifer Hinton, Michelle (Rolando) Delgado, and Kaely Jewett; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe and Ron Garcia; and special friend Ray.
